Water is every part of our daily lives. People do not realize how damaging it can be. Because of this, we often pay little attention to small issues when they arise, and may not respond as quickly to large issues as we need to. Water intrusions or events (shower leaks, plumbing issues, roof leaks, window leaks, etc.) need to be dealt with as soon as possible to minimize the damage they can cause. A little issue now can lead to a large issue later if it is not addressed. (See our section on emergency services for more details.) The longer materials stay wet, the more they can be damaged, the more potential there is for hidden damage to occur, and the more likely it is that the damage will spread to other surrounding areas. The larger the wet areas, the more difficult and complex the corrective measures can be, resulting in more inconvenience and expense. Don’t ignore a water leak or issue and do not rely on just anyone’s assessment of the repairs. Call ERS, the industry’s expert, to accurately assess the damages and make the necessary repairs.
